BionicJS

The full-stack React framework for the AI era: React UI and Python intelligence in one codebase. BionicJS owns the app/ route directory, generates a typed client/server boundary at build time, and composes small plugin packages for AI providers, auth, databases, and background jobs instead of baking combinations into a scaffold - React runs the UI, Nitro runs the server, and Python runs the intelligence.

BionicJS

React apps that bolt AI on as an afterthought: Python models live in a separate service, types drift between the two sides, and wiring routing, auth, database, and jobs means gluing a dozen packages together by hand.

Build an experimental full-stack React meta-framework where the React UI and the Python intelligence layer share one codebase, with type-safe boundaries generated at build time.

BionicJS owns the app/ route directory and compiles a typed client/server boundary at build time: routes are discovered by an AST parser into a RouteManifestNode tree (no runtime filesystem scanning), generated RPC contracts make server handlers and Python model calls fail type-checking when they drift, Vite drives instant frontend HMR while Nitro runs the production server, and auth, databases, background jobs, and LLM providers are opt-in plugins composed in bionicjs.config.ts.

Shipped an MIT-licensed open-source framework with documentation, a create-bionicjs-app starter, and a live demo site - one config wires React, Nitro, and Python capabilities together, and plugins you don't select add no runtime cost.
